To nurture our lives, to sustain our strength and courage in a difficult world, Jesus teaches us to pray like this: with humility, sincerity, and responsibility to align ourselves with God’s desires, with God’s love, in sacred relationship. That we might open our hearts and be healed and transformed. That we might create here on earth God’s kin-dom of love, peace, and justice.
